Consumer Critique: Glidden Paint #GetColor

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Glidden. All opinions are 100% mine.

We bought a house a few years ago, and it was all white. We're finally deciding what colors we want in our house. It's hard to use just a paint chip to figure out what it will look like on the wall, which is why it's nice that Home Depot sells Glidden paint testers. The paint testers even come with an included paint brush, so it's a simple way to see exactly what the color will look like with the lighting that you have. Some people even buy a tester jar so that they can use it for touch-ups later - I guess for some stains (especially with what kids can cook up) it's easier just to paint over than clean off. If you're going that route, it's much easier to store a small jar of paint tester than the partly-used gallon jar.

Glidden helps provide color palette ideas, too. They have larger paint chip samples, if you don't want to buy the paint testers, and provide Top 10 Color Palettes for ideas of coordinating colors - even including a few coordinating colors right on the back of the paint chip. You can try out the Room Painter too, to see how paint and trim can coordinate.

Glidden does offer environmentally-friendly Eco Options paint, as well; the parent company sells a no-VOC option called Fesh Aire Choice.
