Consumer Critique: #Infantino Toys

I was selected to be part of the Infantino Test Drive panel through Mom Central. I'll be reviewing the two toys I received in this post: the Jumbo Wheel Play Space and the Twist & Fold Activity Gym.

The Twist & Fold Activity Gym was a big hit with both of my girls. My 8-month-old loved the noises it made, and the mirror. My toddler liked playing with it too, since she loves animals. The bright colors really caught both of their eyes. It was also very portable. The top pulls up and then the bottom gets wrapped around the legs to make a little tepee-shaped bundle. It's light, and easy to bring to other houses if grandparents or other friends don't have appropriate toys. Now that my younger one is mobile, she pulls herself to it frequently. It has a smooth surface so it's easy to clean. The only real downside is that you can't replace the batteries in the bird that plays a little tune, but I'm sure what's in there will last quite a while, like with most toys that make noise.

This is my toddler enjoying the Jumbo Wheel Play Space. As you can tell, I can't turn video or use enough light. It was also a hit with both girls, but more short-term. I think it would be perfect for encouraging tummy time with really young infants. My toddler also liked to "dance" to the music (at the end she says "Ich tanze auf meine Matte!" - I'm dancing on my mat). It's great for travel, since it has a lot of things to do attached to it - rings of different shapes, crinkly fabric, etc. It's also shiny and easy to wipe clean, but also has music with non-replaceable batteries.

I liked both toys - and so did my girls!
