I had the opportunity to try out some TreeTop products to review. I got applesauce, apple juice, and a mango peach Trim drink.
I was very happy with the applesauce and apple juice. On the website, you can find a variety of recipes that use their products. You can also use applesauce in place of butter/margarine/oil as a healthy substitute - and I found out that you can use apple juice in place of sugar, too (3/4 c concentrate for 1 c sugar, and then reduce the liquid by 3 Tbsp). The Trim drink was something I had never heard of. It's a low-calorie drink that provides a serving of fruit, and also helps promote a healthy metabolism and curbs appetite. It does this with some fortifications that include beta carotene. My husband likes peach much better than I do, and it would make a nice thirst quencher to keep him from snacking in the middle of the afternoon.
TreeTop products are available in the western United States. The juices have no added sugar, and do provide organic varieties, as well as fresh pressed and added fiber varieties. The TreeTop applesauces have no added sugar as well, which is nice, since so many kinds do.
Right now they have a few contests going. America's Secret Ingredient encourages participates to share apple-themed recipes. They also have an instant win contest to celebrate their 50th anniversary.
If TreeTop is available in your area, be sure to download a coupon!
