In general, the best way to get deals is to plan early, but did you know you can also get great deals by going last-minute? For this post about Kissimmee Florida, I decided to take a look at some of the last-minute deals available - and you can get good savings on hotels and other things. Plus, if you're a AAA member, there's always savings on vacations.
Kissimmee has some great advantages. It's near a lot of family-friendly attractions, like Dinosaur World, Busch Gardens, Kennedy Space Center, and much more. Plus, it's less expensive than things that are right in Orlando, since it's not quite as close as staying right by all of the big attractions in Orlando like Disney World and Sea World.
If I went, I think it would be fun to see the new Harry Potter ride at Universal Studios. My husband would love to tour the space center, since he's really interested in astronomy. I'd also take a tour of the free attractions like historic shops and parks. For Star Wars lovers, there's a celebration event August 12th through August 15th.
