Website Spotlight: WeReward (iPhone)

Here's a fun thing to try - say "we reward" five times fast. If you can make it past twice, you're doing better than I did the first time I tried.

Paid-to-click sites have hit the iPhone in the form of WeReward.com, a new app for iPhone. This app is created by Izea, a company that has other marketing websites that help users make money such as Social Spark and Sponsored Tweets. How does it work? They've created a little video to showcase it.



There are a variety of ways to earn points. You connect your Twitter, Facebook, and Foursquare accounts, and then you can "check in" by going to a business that participates. Businesses set their own rules - often it's going to a restaurant and snapping a picture of you eating. You can also do "tasks" such as taking a picture of a specific product (similar, but not location-based). And, of course, you get points for referring friends.

You can Download the App for free, and start earning money right away. Right now it's only available for iPhone, but hopefully as it gets more popular it will become available for Droid/Blackberry/etc as well (I won't be able to use it until it does!)
