Glue Dots adhere instantly, which means they are virtually mess-free and projects can be moved right away. They work on nearly any surface, including wood, paper, foam, metal, cloth, and more. Some come in neat little dispensers, which come in handy if you're sticking two larger things together and need a row of relatively evenly-spaced glue. They come in regular and mini sizes, for various project needs. They even make some that are removable, which means they can be used to hang up temporary posters.
Here are two projects I've done recently that provide examples of things that can be done with glue dots.
One excellent use is in memory books/scrapbooks. They make some specifically designed for this use. They hold photos well. The removable ones are nice in case you need to reposition things later. The photos stay flat and securely in place.Craft projects also benefit from using Glue Dots. The bottom jelly bean craft is foam, which sticks together securely with Glue Dots. The top craft that isn't really pictured is a mosaic where cut pieces of paper were put onto a drawing of an animal to create a mosaic effect.
I'm not super-craft and I was able to find ways to use Glue Dots where they were an improvement over glue. If you have impatient toddlers, this is a great project since they don't have to wait for anything to dry!
