Healthy Habits: Eczema

Have you tried lotions for eczema without success? Try shortening. The oils have emollient properties that protect the skin. Other oils, like shea butter, flaxseed oil, jojoba oil, and cocoa butter, can have the same effect. All are pretty widely available, if the idea of smearing yourself with Crisco isn't appealing!
