Motherhood Moment: It Returns!

I'm going to bring back the "motherhood moment" posts from a really long time ago. It won't always be about my kids, but it will be a random story, photo, or bit of trivia that will hopefully make this blog a little more personal for you:)

Today's tidbit: an update. My girls are now almost three and 10 months. The toddler will be starting preschool in the fall (since I work at home full-time as an online teacher, and she's a social butterfly, this was the best solution and cheaper than daycare). She's also very bright (and I say that not just as a mom; as a teacher I am trained to recognize giftedness). It's a little scary, because I know what it was like growing up gifted, and believe me, it's not always easy. The baby is starting to scootch around using furniture now, a few months earlier than her sister did. She signs for milk and is starting to do other signs too, and is waving and imitating some simple noises (mostly blowing raspberries).

Got a story about your kids you want to share? Feel free to do so!
