I'm involved right now in the Lifelock campaign for BzzAgent.
Identity theft is becoming more common. There are new articles popping up frequently about digital identity thieves and times when personal data is compromised, such as a recent student loan issue.
It can also be a problem if your email address is compromised, as happened to a relative of mine recently. Her password was changed, and the alternate email address was changed. It was the email that all of her banking info goes to.
LifeLock is one company dedicated to protecting its customers from identity theft, and helping them restore their true name in the event of a compromise of their data. They'll notify you of threats, search the web for organizations that illegally sell names (eRecon™), verify changes of address (TrueAddress™), keep track of when people use your information to apply for credit (Identity Alert™), removes your name from pre-approved credit card mailing lists, and provides 24-hour access to service representatives. They'll help fix any issues that occur because of a failure in their service, up to a million dollars, and they'll also help cancel or replace contents of your wallet if it's lost or stolen (WalletLock™).
If you're concerned about identity theft, you can find protection, and LifeLock is one company dedicated to protecting you.
