Healthy Habits: Screen Time

Consider tying screen time to fitness time. For example, you could tell your kids that if they're watching TV, they need to be active during commercial breaks (or every 15 minutes if they're watching a DVD or playing video games). Or, you can have them earn screen time based on active time - a 30-minute PE class could earn 15 minutes of TV, for example.
