Consumer Critique: Nature Made Pre-Natal (and Giveaway)

I recently had the opportunity to try out Nature Made Pre-Natal +DHA vitamins.

Nature Made was the first OTC vitamin brand to create a prenatal multivitamin with 200mg DHA in one single softgel so that expecting or nursing moms would only have to take 1 softgel per day to get 200 mg. Besides, the DHA, one softgel also contains 800mg folic acid (also recommended for women who will bear children), vitamins A, C, D, B6, and B12, Zinc, and Iron. All of these benefit both mother and child; by ensuring that mom is getting all of the vitamins she needs, it will help her body carry a healthy child. Plus, some studies show that supplementing DHA during pregnancy can increase intelligence, cognition, and visual performance in infants and young children. Nature Made vitamins follow the strict quality standards set by the US Pharmacoepia, and contain no gluten or artificial colors or preservatives.

Nature Made products also have a great Wellness Rewards program that you can use - enter in the codes from the vitamins and you can earn rewards like savings on future vitamin purchases, workout products, and more. The Nature Made site also has some great tools and articles to help you improve or maintain health and well-being.

I also have the opportunity to offer you a great giveaway! One winner will receive a 9-month supply of Prenatal + DHA, 2 packs of cloth diapers and a food processor. To enter the giveaway, leave a comment with one benefit of DHA to either nursing moms or babies. Giveaway ends November 15th.
