Consumer Critique: Winter Songs: A Windham Hill Christmas

There's another newly released CD that I was able to review. This one, I think, will have a very wide appeal. If you aren't familiar with Windham Hill, they are a recording label that was bought out by Sony, who now releases recordings of Windham Hill artists' works. The music style is very easy listening - think Jim Brickman's "Angel Eyes" for an example.

This is a compilation CD, so if you already have a lot of Windham Hill music you may already have many of these songs. The songs include the very familiar, such as "Joy to the World" and "Angels We Have Heard On High," as well as reinterpreted and new songs.

I love Christmas music, and I have always enjoyed listening to Windham Hill. It makes a wonderful lullaby CD for my daughters (and for myself), and is also very peaceful background music during the holiday season.

You can get "Winter Songs: A Windham Hill Christmas." at Amazon on CD or mp3 download (affiliate link), or you can purchase it in most music stores.

Disclosure: I received the CD of "Winter Songs" to facilitate this review.
