Consumer Critique: Tabasco

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of TABASCO® Original Red. All opinions are 100% mine.

My brothers are both in the military, and have both been deployed. As a result, they've both eaten their fair shares of MREs. They've also brought some home to us to try. I was intrigued by the fact that every one of them includes a bottle of Tobasco sauce to help liven up the flavor of the potentially bland foods. Then I had the opportunity to do this post, and learned even more about TABASCO® Original Red. For example, it's not just about making things hot. It only uses a few ingredients - salt, red pepper, and vinegar - but the aging process helps it bring out a lot of flavor in the food. I didn't know that it was designed to make sure it didn't obscure the original taste of the food. My favorite thing is to actually mix it in scrambled eggs - I think it makes a great addition, and then wrapped up in a burrito with some scrambled cheese is a wonderful breakfast meal.

Tabasco has some great ideas for entertaining on their website. You can visit the Game-Day Party Menu for ideas when you're hosting the next sports get-together, or the Pizza Perfected page to get some unique twists on a Pizza Party.
