Choose a white object. Hide it in a visible, but hard-to-see spot outside. First one to find it gets to pick the new spot.
Take two bowls the same size. Lightly scoop snow in one, and pack it down in the other. Have your (younger) kids try to figure out if one will have more water when it melts.
