Got a red wine spill? Cover with salt, and let it sit until dry, then vacuum and repeat. Blot whatever is left over with water and dish soap.
If the spill is oil-based, then cover with soda, vacuum, and blot with rubbing alcohol.
Let wax harden on fabric furniture, then put an ice back or ice cube in a plastic bag over it to freeze it. Pull it up with tweezers. Colored wax stains can be blotted with rubbing alcohol or a vinegar-water mix.
Leather furniture can be gently cleaned with an all-purpose cleaner (with no bleach). If it gets scratched, use saddle soap to help minimize its appearance.
