As a Purex Insider, I get to try out new products when they come out. The most recent one I've gotten to test is new Purex Complete with Zout. Purex Complete is formulated to be safe for both high-efficiency and traditional washers, so no matter what type you have, it'll be safe. The detergent contains stain fighters designed to work with each of the three types of stains: Protease (grass and blood), Amylase (chocolate and tomato sauce), and Mannanase (sticky foods). Like most detergents, it can be used as a pretreater - and since Zout makes stain remover, it's just as effective as using a separate product. The detergent comes in both Fresh Morning Burst scented and Free & Clear unscented versions.
Does it work? As before, my standard for laundry detergents is my daughter's poopy cloth diapers. Purex performed admirably, getting them clean, leaving them with a slightly fresh scent, and even getting some of them cleaner than before by removing old stains! The scented version is pleasant, without too much fragrance, and is hypoallergenic, so it's suitable for most people except those with really sensitive skin.
Want to try it for yourself? You can get a free sample. I also have two coupons for free detergent to give away. Leave a comment by March 21st with the stain that bugs you the most when you're doing laundry!
