I've never been to Branson, Missouri, but one of my friends took her four kids and loved it. There's a lot of family activities to do - of course there are always concerts, it's one of the big things it's known for, with the nickname "Live Music Show Capital of the World." But there are plenty of other things to do, too. There's a winery, dam tours, an IMAX theater, a toy museum, a medieval fortress and much more. I think my favorite thing to do would be the zipline and canopy tours. My brother got to go ziplining and loved it.
If I ever do go to Branson, I'll be sure to check out the Hiltons of Branson - the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel or Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing. Both of them have some new spring packages, such as one that includes two adult and two children's tickets to Silver Dollar City and a $25 food and beverage voucher at the Level 2 Steakhouse of the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel. It's a two-night, three-day package that starts at $455 plus tax.
If I got that package, I'd make sure to get down that morning and check in, then head to one of the mines, like Talking Rocks Cavern. That night, we'd see a show, depending on what was playing. We'd spend the next day at Silver Dollar City with the free passes, then the Laura Ingalls Wilder Home and Museum. I'd make sure that we went ziplining the third day before leaving for home.
Branson has some great spring attractions too - golf courses, lakes, and theme parks, plus the 3rd Annual Missouri Food and Wine Festival and Bluegrass and BBQ special events. There's sure to be something to please everyone!
