World Wisdom: Birdhouses

Do you have a birdhouse in your yard? Early March is the best time to do maintenance on them - before birds look for homes. Clean out old nests, keep them at least 5 feet off the ground, and consider getting rid of the perch on the outside. Birds will find plenty of perches, but it can be a resting spot for predators as well if it's right on the house.
