Fun Freetime: Nim
The traditional game of Nim says that you take 21 objects in a line. Each person can pick up 1, 2, or 3 objects, and the loser is the person who is forced to pick up the last button. You can create variants, though - for example, the winner picks up the last button, or you can vary the number of objects. Sometimes the objects are arranged in circles, and you can take 1, 2, or 3, but they have to be touching. Again, the person who picks that last piece can be either the winner or loser. With endless possibilities for rule variations, this makes a great rainy day came!
