Healthy Habits: Allergies and Toys

If your family has allergies, make sure you're taking care of stuffed animals. They can hold dust mites, which can make allergies worse. Freeze them for a day every few weeks, or wash them in hot water. I recommend the first option - freezing them is just as effective at killing dust mites, and it takes a lot less energy (plus is much easier on your stuffed toys).
