Time Tidbits: Cleaning Game

Got kids that resist cleaning up? Make it a game - or a race. There are lots of ways to do this. For example, you could have kids count how many green objects they clean up, or have each kid put away a type of toy and see who gets it done the fastest. Or race against the clock - see if the whole room can get straightened up in 5 minutes or less. With everyone participating, and by making it a game, it takes hardly any time and is a little bit of fun!
