Healthy Habits: Weight Lifting and Brain Power
Did you know that the moves that power your body can also power your mind? A study was recently conducting at the Brain Research Centre in Canada, which found that women who did a total body weight-training routine once or twice a week scored up to 13 percent higher on mental-attention tests, as compared to those who did body-weight-only classes. So if you're doing weight-training exercises, keep it up! If you're only using your body weight for moves right now, consider adding some dumbbell work to your routine.
