There's an event on August 20th from 8-5 in the Paradise Gymnasium and Cultural Center at 4295 Hendrix Drive in Forest Park for young men ages 11-20 called Young Kings: Empowering Youth for Success. It's objective is to build a bridge within the community by providing youth with fundamental tools required to find their intrinsic success. Guided by the premise, 'It Takes a Village to Raise a Child,' the event will will organize collaborative efforts throughout communities to assist young people to identify, then internalize, and map their personalized individual goals to success. Diverse Kings such as Life Coaches, Ministers, Professors', Engineers, Academic Deans, Psychologists, and many more will host this event for entertainment for approximately 250-400 young men.
Everything involved with the event is free, including a full breakfast, lunch, awards, technology giveaways, and more.
