Mealtime Magic: Crusts
Do you have kids who hate crusts? Don't throw them away after cutting them off the bread. And don't feel like you have to eat them or throw them away. You can dry and crush into bread crumbs for meatballs or meatloaf. You can turn them into croutons fairly easily - just mix olive oil with desired herbs and spices, toss with cubed bread crusts, and toast in the oven for 10-15 minutes. Another idea is to use them when you're making French toast, turning them into French toast sticks.
