You can buy fancy premium flavored butters, but they often cost quite a bit more than regular butter. It's pretty easy to make your own, and there are a lot of things you can add, depending on what you want to spread it on. Soften butter, add desired mix-ins, and re-cool until firm.
For baked potatoes, sandwiches and wraps, and corn on the cob, consider adding BBQ sauce or various herbs and spices. For breakfasts, like toast, French toast, pancakes, and waffles, add sweeter options, like lemon peel and a dash of lemon juice, honey, orange peel and a dash of orange juice, or cinnamon.
