Contest: Clorox Power a Bright Future

School administrators, teachers, and parents know it can be a challenge to keep kids engaged, and with continued budget cuts taking place nationwide, schools are looking elsewhere for funding solutions to kids excited about learning. The Clorox Company’s Power A Bright Future grant program gives kids the power to grow and transform through playing, creating and exploring - important elements of learning inside and outside of the classroom. Clorox is giving $150,000 to help schools nationwide, and for the program’s third year it’s easier than ever to nominate deserving schools across the country for a chance to win. Anyone 18 or older can enter by choosing a category (Play, Create or Explore) to nominate their school and tell how it would use a $50,000 grant. Nominations will be accepted through October 17th at www.PowerABrightFuture.com. Come back on October 24th to vote for your favorite nomination, and get others to vote as well! The school with the most votes will receive a $50,000 grand prize, and additional $25,000 prizes will be awarded to each category winner and a judges’ choice school.
