Mealtime Magic: Calming Foods

Do you find yourself stressed out a lot? Garrison Keillor on Prairie Home Companion often has characters extol the virtues of ketchup with it's natural "calming agents" as a joke, but there are some foods that really can help you be more relaxed.

- Asparagus and other foods rich in folate
- Avocados
- Berries of all kinds
- Oranges and other foods rich in vitamin C
- Oysters (due to the high zinc content)
- Walnuts and foods rich in omega-3s
