appsbar is an online resource where anyone can build and publish their own smartphone app – for free. They have just launched a giveaway, to introduce a free way to have an app for a business, blog, hobbies and more – and a chance to enter the contest:
appsbar launched the Myapps! video challenge as a way to hear everyone’s thoughts on the future of apps, app builders and of course the ideas to make appsbar even better.
The Myapps! contest invites everyone to join the community (for free) and participate in a public forum with ideas on the evolution of apps. The contest asks entrants to film and upload a short video to YouTube – and the ones that receive the most views on appsbar’s YouTube page may win cash and tech devices.
Through May 1, a 30-second video can be emailed to appsbar at videos@appsbar.com. appsbar will post the video to the appsbar YouTube Channel.

The videos can incorporate anything … thoughts on the evolution of apps, the appsbar experience, or how appsbar can make appsbar even better. The contest will create a public platform where everyday app builders can showcase their ideas on how apps or app stores can or will be improved, their own unique appsbar apps – or anything about the future or history of app building.
Visit http://www.youtube.com/user/APPSBAR/videos once a video is posted, capture your video’s URL, and (since this about getting your video seen) share the URL across social networks and email to help drive your viewing numbers!
The user whose video is uploaded and receives the most views will be identified on appsbar’s Facebook page on May 15. The video that receives the most views will receive the grand prize of $2,000. A second place winner will receive a new Android Tablet and a third place winner will receive a $100 Visa gift card.
The challenge is created as a way to inspire thoughts and conversations on the on-going evolution of apps. Videos that receive the most views will receive prizes including cash and mobile devices.
