Healthy Habits: Constipation

Do you or your child suffer from constipation? Here are some tips that can help.

- Drink plenty of water. Dehydration can contribute to constipation.
- Eat high-fiber foods, such as whole grains and fruits and vegetables.
- Don't get angry, frustrated, or obsessed about your child's irregularity. This can make the issue worse.
- Exercise. It's generally a healthy idea and helps keep the body runnig smoothly.
