Website Spotlight: Clipix

clipix is a new online bulletin board that makes it easy to "clip" a wide variety of info from all over the web. It's easy to visually organize, unlike bookmarks, and when you come back you can see a snapshot of what you've saved. The clipboards are completely customizable, and the privacy settings are easy to adjust as well, so you share only what you want to with the people you want to.

Working on a project with friends? Clipix makes that easy too. Syncboards allow collaborative clipping to share relevant online information. You can also group your clipboards into Multiboards, collections of related clipboards (but when you still want to keep the information on each board separate).

How would you use Clipix? I think I'd use it most frequently for storing lesson plan ideas and activities for homeschooling. It would be easy to organize them by subject and grade level.

You can sign up with Facebook or Twitter, which makes it easy to share, or you can just sign up with email too if you prefer not to link the accounts. For more information, you can follow @Clipix or like Clipix on Facebook. There's also an iPhone app to make it easy to use on the go.
