Consumer Critique: MuffinMeal

I had the chance to try out MuffinMeal, a product I would never have imagined existed. Muffinmeal was inspired by the desire to fill a cupcake with ice cream, without wasting any of the cupcake inside. This fun little product bakes with the cupcake to create nice indents that you can adjust the depth of, and then fill with whatever you want. I took some pictures along the way, but unfortunately they disappeared from my camera (I blame toddlers). Needless to say, mine did not turn out as well as the photos in the promo material, but they were a lot of fun to make, for both my daughter and myself.

The clever design allows you to easily remove the product from the cupcake - although it does take practice. I wrecked my first few cupcakes, but after a few I got the hang of it. I think sturdier cupcake dough would definitely work better. You can find lots of great recipes at the website and ideas for ways to use Muffinmeal. You can buy it at the Cupcaqe online shop, or at Amazon.com.

Disclosure: I received a complimentary set of Muffinmeal products to facilitate this review.
