Website Spotlight: SquareSpot

There's a new curated online marketplace for families, just launched a a week ago - SquareSpot. There, you can find great offers and discounts on high quality, family-centric products and services. Offers range from organic produce to arts courses, from clothes to services for families or moms. Everything on SquareSpot has been sourced and selected by people who appreciate that discerning parents who want the best for their families don’t always have the time to go out and look for it. Each offer runs for 7 days, catering to the needs of busy families who may not catch a one-day deal.

How is SquareSpot different? SquareSpot works closely with businesses to ensure that they are still in the driving seat when it comes to their discounts. SquareSpot’s goal is to build long-term relationships with vendors, thereby creating a strong base of returning businesses and customers. This is not a discount website for overstocked products. Through their untraditional approach SquareSpot also takes a very low commission on offers, so both the business and the consumer get more out of each promotion. In fact, SquareSpot requires businesses to be profitable all the time on their site.

The deals are curated by SquareSpotters in each area, which are mothers who work for SquareSpot. Everything is tried and tested before being posted on the website.

Right now it looks like the deals are all centered in NY, and you can Like SquareSpot on Facebook or follow @SquareSpot to get more information.
