Consumer Critique: Honey Bunches of Oats

As part of the Purex Insiders I occasionally get other products to review besides Purex. This time it was Honey Bunches of Oats.

A lot of cereals are jumping on the healthy bandwagon, including Post. For example, my box has a pledge on the top to use no HFCS, and they also boast 10 grams of whole grain per serving. It's a great cereal for people who like a little bit of sweetening but not a lot of cloyingly sweet sugary flavors. The Honey Roasted flavor I got is plain, but that's actually good for many people. There's no fruity flavors, just lightly sweetened honey flakes and and oat bunches (which are my favorite part of the cereal).

Post cereals are widely available at pretty much every grocery store, and they often go on sale.

Disclosure: I received a box of Honey Bunches of Oats through the Purex Insiders program to facilitate this review.
