I absolutely love logic puzzles. My mom and I used to race each other doing them in long car rides. I am very pleased with the puzzles included in this set. What I like about this book is that each puzzle includes statistics about completion time so if you have a competitive nature, you can race the clock and see how you compare to the average - or you can just use it as a guide for difficulty level.
The Sudoku book is not for the faint of heart. There are some easy ones in the collection of 400, but only 25. There are 100 medium, 175 hard, and 100 "super hard" - so this might be best for people who are already very comfortable with Sudoku but want a few puzzles in there that are quick to do.
I wasn't as excited about the picture puzzle book at first. I'm not a fan of puzzles where you just look for things. However, my preschool daughter loves trying to do them, so they actually make a really nice activity for the the two of us to do on rainy days - she looks for the easier stuff and I look for the harder things. There are puzzles at all difficulty levels, but even the hard puzzles have things she can spot.
I have the opportunity to give away a set of puzzle books. If you want to enter to win, leave a comment with your favorite type of puzzle. Deadline is May 31st. Giveaway winner must be a US or Canada resident 18 or over.
Disclosure: I received copies of the books to facilitate this review and giveaway.
