American Express just launched an update to their
iPhone app,
“My Offers,” a mobile offer engine that recommends and ranks relevant
offers in real time for US Cardmembers based on their spending
history and location. During the pilot, recommended local offers fueled
by large and small merchants will be concentrated in Los Angeles and
New York City, and include:

To claim these deals, Cardmembers can download or update the
American Express iPhone app to:

“Offers Available for You,” a list of offers ranked based on relevance –
taking into account the Cardmember’s spending history and current
location.

Sort and discover offers based on location or expiration date.
·
Redeem
an offer, by loading the offer to an enrolled, eligible American Express
Card and then using their Card to make the purchase. Savings are
automatically
delivered via a statement credit within three to five days.

View a
dashboard where Cardmembers can see what offers they loaded to their
enrolled card, how much they saved, and what offers expired – all in one
convenient place.

This dashboard includes social offers in which Cardmembers enrolled via foursquare, Facebook and Twitter
