Do you want to experience more moments of bliss? For the most part, our attitude is as much a choice as it is what happens to us. Here are some ways to help make the right choice and experience joy more often. - Take a break. It doesn't have to be long, but make sure to pause and reflect. - Be nice. Doing random acts of kindness, even if you know they won't be returned, will make you feel good. - Spin it! It sounds cheesy, but choosing to see the silver lining in the clouds will help you focus on what's good, not what's bad. - Be healthy. Regular exercise and a healthy diet are helpful for making you feel good about yourself and improving your mood. - Savor the moment. Go on a photo scavenger hunt to really notice what's around you. Or pick a sense - hearing, sound, smell - and really focus on what you're feeling. Anything to slow your mind down and focus on one thing, not the million things we usually focus on.
