Caring Causes: Title IX

This month marks the 40th anniversary of Title IX’s passing. Over the past four decades, Title IX has provided the opportunity for women and girls to compete not only in sports, but in the classroom. Title IX remains just as important today as it was 40 years ago.

To celebrate Title IX’s 40th anniversary, the NCAA and Coca-Cola brought together several of the biggest names in women’s athletics, including Billie Jean King, Jackie Joyner-Kersee, Summer Sanders and Cheyenne Woods, to talk about impact Title IX has made on their lives. The event took place Monday, June 18 at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City.

Below, you will find links to video recorded at the event that include thoughtful reflection from King, Joyner-Kersee and more.
