Consumer Critique: Omega3Water

I just had a chance to try out new omega3water. The concept is great: omega-3 has been shown to have a lot of health benefits, but it's not something we can make ourselves. One of the primary sources of omega-3, fatty fish, isn't a food many people eat on a regular basis. So this company has made a beverage containing omega-3, as well as several crucial vitamins (which I was really happy to see, it adds just a little more health benefit to the drink).

The beverage comes in two varieties: orange kiwi and bold berry. The bold berry tasted pretty much like I expected - like a mix of berries. The orange kiwi didn't have a lot of obvious kiwi taste, but it didn't taste just like orange either. My daughters loved them, so if you're looking for an easy way to get omega-3's into your kids, and like the added boost of vitamins (A, B3/5/6/12, and C in orange/kiwi; B3/5/6/12, D, and calcium in bold berry) this is a pretty tasty way to do it.

Right now you can buy it online at ThirstMonger.com, or at select NY/NJ shops.

For more information, you can check out the benefits of omega-3 listed on their website (with sources), visit Omega3Water on Facebook, follow @PowerofOmega, and follow omega3water on Pinterest. If you like omega3water, you can vote for it in Bevnet's Beverage Showdown.

Disclosure: I received complimentary bottles of omega3water to facilitate this review.
