Do your kids like the free website MoshiMonsters? If you've never heard of it, it's a cute website where kids can adopt adorable monsters and play games while taking care of their new pets. There are limited social networking capabilities as well as many educational games that teach problem-solving skills, school readiness skills, and more. The site is free to join, although there are paid features as well.
There's an app to go with it as well, MoshiMonsters: Moshlings. The app allows kids to show off their creativity and unlock secret codes to use on MoshiMonsters.
If your kid is a fan of MoshiMonsters, they'll love this app. My daughter has never seen the website, but after seeing the app she wanted to try it out (but she's too young, she'll have to wait). I explored the site myself, and there are a lot of neat features - and it's free to join, so that's a big plus. You can try it out for yourself without investing any money in something your kids may or may not be interested in.
Disclosure: I received a complimentary copy of this app to facilitate the review.
