They're easy to use - use them like any similar tomato product. Here are a few ideas provided by Pomi:
The quality of products is great. They've been available in the US since 1982, but this was the first I had heard of them. They really are easy to use and taste great - nice and fresh. I haven't gotten to try all of the products I was sent yet, but if everything is as tasty as the first ones were, we'll be well fed for a while.Feel like fish? Use Pomi Crushed Tomatoes while you simmer a filet with a bit of olive oil and oregano to create a wonderfully light and healthy dinner. Feel like vegetarian? Use Pomi tomatoes for a quick gazpacho and go Spanish. Have lamb in mind? Braise a lamb shank in Pomi’s chopped tomatoes. If pasta is more to your liking, simply pour Pomi’s tomatoes in with a sprinkle of salt, a few basil leaves and a sprinkle of parmesan cheese. Let it heat for a few minutes before spooning it over some freshly cooked pasta and you have an authentic and healthy meal – straight from Italy.
Depending on where you live, you may not be able to find them in your local grocery store (for example, they aren't sold within 200 miles of St. Paul MN, but they are sold at Dominick's in the Chicago area). If you're interested in trying them out, you can find Pomi at Amazon.com
Disclosure: I received complimentary Pomi products to facilitate this review.
