When I was asked to review TurboCharged Recipes: Delicious Fuel for Your Fabulous Fat Burning Machine I was first attracted to the title itself. It just sounded catchy and fun.
When the book came, I wasn't disappointed. It's filled with hundreds of healthy recipes, neatly divided into sections, that are designed to boost the body's metabolism. The introduction explains the idea behind the TurboCharged recipes, details some of the key ingredients used throughout the book, and has some great tips on helping your family live a healthy lifestyle overall with activity and healthy eating.
What I love about the recipes is that they are easy, but not boring. Most of them take less than a half hour, and don't require any fancy tools or obscure ingredients. Yet there's a huge variety of entrees, sides, snacks, and desserts.
