Shopping Savings: RiteAid

Seasonal flu shots are now available at all Rite Aid pharmacies nationwide. Customers can visit any of the more than 4,600 Rite Aid pharmacies nationwide and receive a flu shot from a Rite Aid certified immunizing pharmacist, subject to state regulations, during pharmacy hours, no appointment necessary.

Anyone who gets a flu shot at Rite Aid will receive a free coupon booklet that offers over $100 in savings, while supplies last*. The booklet includes savings on health and wellness, beauty and household items and other products available at Rite Aid. Members of Rite Aid’s free customer loyalty program, wellness+, will also earn 25 points when they get their flu shot (prescriptions paid for in whole or in part by state or federal healthcare programs such as Medicare or Medicaid and prescriptions filled in New York and New Jersey are not eligible by law for accrual of points).

Rite Aid pharmacists are also able to administer vaccinations for 12 other diseases, such as pertussis (whooping cough), shingles and pneumonia, subject to state regulations.
*No purchase necessary.

Rite Aid also recently launched a new "Exclusive Deals" tab on its Facebook page, giving fans newly expanded coupon offers available exclusively through Rite Aid social media channels and a chance to rank their favorite +UP Rewards or share them directly with their friends.

As one of the many rewards for members of Rite Aid's free customer loyalty program wellness+, +UP Rewards print on the bottom of select register receipts and are used like cash during a future Rite Aid purchase. The Facebook offers listed on the new Exclusive Deals tab, meanwhile, will be available to anyone who "likes" Rite Aid's Facebook page at www.facebook.com/riteaid. Coupons are uniquely serialized per user to ensure the limited quantity of deals will be available to as many of Rite Aid's fans and followers as possible before they're gone.

Rite Aid's new Exclusive Deals tab is divided into three parts, each of which can be easily shared with other Facebook fans through separate one-click "Share" buttons:
·         The top portion of the page will display a description of the week's coupons along with links to download and print them directly from a home or office printer.
·         The middle portion of the page will offer a monthly calendar showing sneak previews of some of the upcoming offers as well as fun calendar facts and trivia. (Aug. 10 is National S'mores Day!)
·         The bottom portion of the page displays the current top three fan-ranked +UP Rewards for the week. It also allows the Facebook user to check out the entire list of +UPs for the week. There is a weekly average of over $100 in savings through +UP Rewards alone.
