Soul Sustenance: Preschool Gems

I just had the chance to review a cute book called Preschool Gems: Love, Death, Magic, and Other Surprising Treasures from the Mouths of Babes. It's written by Leslie McCollom, who has the Twitter handle @preschoolgems and is worth following.

I thought this little book was cute. It's a great pick-me-up to read through a few pages and see great quotes that are so typical of this age! Here are a few of my favorites - hopefully they'll brighten your day too.

"Even though I'm a kid I'm kind of wise because I almost know about the whole earth."
"I saw a puddle in the shape of a heart and no one harmed me, so it was a good day."
"You wanna know how I know that fairies are real? Because I'm a fairy."

I think this book would make a fun gift for anyone who works with preschoolers, will have a preschooler, or has ever had a preschooler!

I received a complimentary copy of the book as a thank-you for this post.
