Time Tidbits: Ringya

Ringya is a new app for Android or iPhone that is designed to simplify the way you contact groups of people. To use, parents, teachers, club leaders, or anyone who frequently contacts groups can snap a picture of a contact list or email a digital list, which is transformed to a "Ring" (mobile list) on their phone. This allows you to save time entering in relevant people, and also allows you to call, text, or email either individual people or the whole group. It also ads contextual caller ID (adding info to the caller idea, such as VP, PTA or Suzy's Father, Jefferson 3rd Grade) so you know who's calling. The Rings can also be shared among family members or club members so other people can instantly receive the list.

Ringya makes group communications easy, such as letting club or team members know of schedule changes, finding a parent to schedule a playdate, coordinating family events, or setting up team meetings.
