Caring Causes: Bitsy's Brainfood Give a Bitsy Back

Bitsy’s Brainfood is on a mission to teach children to eat smart and be smart through its Give a Bitsy Back program. Alexandra Buckley Voris and Maggie Jones Patton, founders of Bitsy’s Brainfood, met while working at Children for Children, a non profit, and saw firsthand the lack of access to healthy snacks in many communities and schools. With a mutual desire to make the world a healthier place, the two launched Bitsy’s Brainfood, the world’s first smart snack for kids, available in 4 delicious flavors, made with organic ingredients and packed with nutrients that support developing bodies and brains.  Alongside this launch, Alexandra and Maggie developed the Give a BitsyBack program to supply healthy snacks to worthy organizations.

The Give a Bitsy Back program donates snacks to non profits and schools, serving pre school and elementary age children, with a lack of access to healthy snacks.  This program is not just about providing snacks to those in need, it is about bringing the “Eat Smart Be Smart” idea to children everywhere.

With letter shaped snacks, an interactive website, colorful packaging, cool stickers and characters that spark imagination, Bitsy’s Brainfood makes learning fun and teaches children to crave the right foods.
