Fun Freetime: Free (or Cheap) Halloween Activities

There are a lot of free or inexpensive places you can take your kids for some extra trick-or-treating. Most activities are free. These are all available in the TC area, but your area stores may be doing similar things, so be sure to check it out!

Barnes & Noble storytime (nationwide)
Halloween Cub4Kids (Cub stores)
Byerly's trick-or-treating (select Lunds and Byerly's, check calendar for dates)
Zoo Boo (Como Zoo, $6 in advance or $7 at the door, fundraiser)
HallZOOween (MN Zoo, I think regular admission applies)
Boo-ology (Science Museum, free for kids 12 and under)
Halloween Spooktacular (Roseville Harriet Alexander Nature Center, $6)
Pumpkins and Potions  (Mall of America Rotunda)

If you don't live in Minnesota, check out your area bookstores, grocery stores, and museums to see what events they have in store.
