Consumer Critique: A is for Ketchup

Are you looking for an alphabet book that's a little out of the ordinary? Try A is for Ketchup. This book was written by a stay-at-home dad who wanted an alphabet book that was different from the rest. So he starts each page with an incorrect word, then moves to the right word.

My kids loved this book. Even my 3-year-old was able to make the distinction between the right and wrong word (A, by the way, is really for Alligator) and my 5-year-old thought it was really funny. The author chose self-publishing through Amazon's CreateSpace platform, which enables him to have a flexible schedule and raise his kids while sharing his talent and humor with the world.

He has another book published - Poop! There it is!, with one in the works. I look forward to what else he writes, because it's nice to have a change of pace from traditional books.

Disclosure: I received a copy of A is for Ketchup to facilitate this review.
