Pianist,
singer and songwriter Bob Dorough performs his classic election-themed
tunes-including “Conjunction Junction” and “I’m Just a Bill”- in front
of an exclusive studio audience at the SiriusXM studios, and catches up
with Kids Place Live’s Absolutely Mindy during the one-hour special
aimed at getting out the word on how the President of the United States
is elected.
“Many
of us grew up on Schoolhouse Rock and it’s a pleasure to welcome Bob to
our national airwaves and share his great work with the latest
generation of Americans and their parents,” said Jeremy Coleman, Senior
Vice President of Talk and Entertainment Programming, SiriusXM. “‘The
Schoolhouse Rockin’ Political Party’ might just teach us all a few
things about our political process as we prepare for this year’s
historic Presidential election.”
The
“Schoolhouse Rockin’ Political Party,” which will feature both classic
and new performances of the Schoolhouse Rock tunes, airs November 2,
2012 at 9:00 pm; Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 9:00 am and 5:00 pm; and
