Consumer Critique: Wiggles Celebration Tour

The Wiggles, major children's entertainers, just launched a brand new DVD, Wiggles: The Wiggles Celebration through NCircle Entertainment. This new live concert movie is going to be the final release with all the Original Wiggles, as Murray Cook, Jeff Fatt and Greg Page will be retiring at the end of 2012 to take on behind the scenes roles in content development and songwriting. The three new Wiggles - Simon Pryce, Lachlan Gillespie, and the first ever female Wiggle, Emma Watkins, will join Blue Wiggle Anthony Field as they don the band’s signature Red, Purple and Yellow jerseys. The Wiggles have been around for 21 years, and this DVD will celebrate all the fun and excitement of a live show at home, as well as introduce the new Wiggles to fans.

I actually have never seen a Wiggles live show - or recorded, for that matter. I was a little old when they first came out (although my parents might have taken my younger brothers), and I've never taken my own kids. So it was fun to have the chance to watch the DVD. My girls love the engaging songs and really get into participating and dancing along. This will be a fun DVD to pull out throughout the winter when we're cooped up inside for some fun musical entertainment.

Disclosure: I received a complimentary copy of the DVD to facilitate this review.
