Mealtime Magic: Oatmeal Variations

If you know oatmeal is healthy, but don't want the artificially flavored kind, or just prefer knowing what's in your oatmeal, you might get bored by plain oatmeal, or oatmeal with just brown sugar or maple syrup. Be creative! Oatmeal is a fairly neutral flavor, so you can jazz it up with hints of just about anything. Get inspired by your favorite foods!

- PB&J: Add berries or jam and a spoonful of PB.
- Apple crisp: Add chopped apples or applesauce, cinnamon, and nuts.
- Blueberry muffin: Add blueberries and top with white sugar.
- Chocolate chip: Sprinkle in a few chocolate chips.
- S'mores: Add a little bit of chocolate syrup, a few mini marshmallows, and a crushed graham cracker.
